Should scientists research options for people to become immortal?

Date

For years the world has fantasised about the ending of death. Everyone dreams of not dying. Many researchers are trying to achieve immortality through different experimental studies. Immortality is a surprising fact. People have thought a lot about becoming immortal. But here, the question is that should scientists research other options for the world so that they may become immortal. Let’s start this segment with immortality’s definition, and in the end, we will give our opinion related to the above question.

Concept of Immortality:

Immortality is considered the longer life spans in which a living human being or a living thing will never die. This concept is trying to be achieved by different approaches and different fields of science. Researchers and scientists are performing specific experiments in the area of;

  • Nanotechnology
  • Genetics
  • Biological engineering
  • Microbiology
  • Regenerative medicine
  • Emergency room procedures

Can science create immortality?

Now the most interesting question is that will science be able to create immortality? A study by the National academy of sciences was done. They published an article in their journal that stated that it is impossible to stop human cells’ ageing process according to a mathematical equation. All the multicellular organisms are destined to be aged and then dead. But different researches and institutions are trying to best achieve immortality for the whole world. Such as Ian Pearson is a futurologist, and he has given a forecast that in 2050, people will be able to achieve immortality. Several tools and experimental studies will be successfully done to achieve the immortality of life.

What are researchers doing regarding immortality achieving?

Modern science and scientific researches have made many people believe in achieving immortality. Its complete achievement is considered as something impossible. Still, scientists have discovered and invented some anti-ageing therapies that might not be giving immortality right now. Yet, they have made people achieve a longer life span without ageing. This is called Real anti-ageing therapies. Other than this, several pills can make a person not get aged according to your age.

Is it right or wrong?

We are not classifying this situation as either right or wrong. Both of the dimensions can serve the best purpose for people. But in our opinion, scientists should not try extreme options for achieving immortality as our cells and genes have age and programmed death. The body’s DNA and proteins are destined to be destroyed, which is how everyday life works. Each phase of life has its beauty. Being a child, then a teenager, and then an adult and old aged have its charm and peace.

Moreover, achieving mortality can be very complicated for the world. Still, yes, if some scientists want to find out the formula to achieve immortality, then there is no issue until or unless they are not crossing some ethical limitations. And these studies are serving humanity in its best and pure forms because this is all a good researcher should do.
